Webcast: Workplace Violence in the Healthcare Industry

In this hour-long seminar presented by the International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) and SecurityInfoWatch.com, IAHSS President-Elect and Director of Corporate Security for Carolinas Healthcare System Bryan Warren will discuss the precursors and warning signs that often indicate forthcoming violent incidents. The seminar will examine how workplace violence typically manifests itself within different hospital departments, and we'll examine some recent incidents which elucidate the indicators for violence. Included in the seminar is discussion of the Joint Commission's 2010 advisory on the likelihood of workplace violence sentinel events, and we'll close with a review of response scenarios to active shooter incidents and then an open Q&A with our speaker.
