Porsche Boxster, Panamera, and Cayenne Recipients of Award From Canadian Black Book for 2015

Best Retained Value nods given to trio in their respective categories

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 02/12/15 -- Today, Canadian Black Book presented awards for the Boxster, Panamera, and Cayenne to Alexander Pollich, President & CEO of Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. at the 2015 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto. The models were picked as winners for Best Retained Value in the Premium Sports Car, Premium Luxury Car, and Mid-size Luxury SUV categories, respectively.

The "Best Retained Value Awards" are given to those vehicles which retained the greatest percentage of their original MSRP over the past four years. This represents the second consecutive year that Boxster and Panamera top their category.

The Porsche Boxster is the ultimate expression of the archetypical roadster. Powered by a choice of powerful yet efficient centrally mounted flat-six engines, the two-seater sports car offers unparalleled performance, style, and driving pleasure.

The Porsche Panamera four-seat sports sedan offers many variants such as extended-wheelbase Executive versions and a 416-hp plug-in hybrid model. According to Transport Canada, the Panamera S E-Hybrid achieves a blended fuel efficiency rating of 4.6 le/100 km.

The Porsche Cayenne was updated for 2015. Among the changes, is a new twin-turbo V6 engine for the Cayenne S and the arrival of the Cayenne S E-Hybrid. As the world's first plug-in hybrid in its segment, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid has a blended fuel efficiency rating of 5.0 l/100 km according to Transport Canada.

Porsche Cars Canada was formed as an independent subsidiary in April 2008. The company employs a team of 29 in sales, aftersales, finance, marketing, and public relations. Last calendar year, Porsche sold a record 4,933 units in Canada, an increase of 34% over 2013.
