A seasoned executive with over 15 years of expertise in enterprise software and consumer internet companies, Russell will be responsible for managing Piston's finances as the company assists customers cost effectively capitalize on emerging datacenter trends.

Prior to VMware, Russell held Corporate Development and Business Operations roles at Yahoo! and worked in mergers and acquisitions banking at GCA SAvvian and Credit Suisse First Boston.
