DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES -- (Marketwired) -- 04/14/15 -- LS Retail's annual international conference dedicated to retail and hospitality businesses kicks off today in Dubai.

conneXion 2015 takes place over 3 days, closing on April 16, and is built around the concept of Easier, Simpler, Faster software solutions.

LS Retail, which is headquartered in Reykjavik, Iceland, also has a regional office in Dubai since January 2014.

conneXion 2015 starts with a first day completely dedicated to workshops. Mark Stuyt, internationally renowned expert in sales effectiveness and customer buying psychology, will lead a workshop dedicated to sales professionals. More technical seminars are also on the agenda, offering tips and tricks to help retailers and restaurateurs make the most out of LS Retail software solutions.

On April 15 and 16 participants can attend conference sessions and the exhibitors' expo at Madinat Jumeirah Resort, in Dubai.

The conference agenda includes over 50 sessions led by international experts in retail and hospitality. Participants will be treated to keynote sessions by the likes of Magnus Norddahl, CEO of LS Retail, and Daniel Levine, global trends expert and Director of The Avant-Guide Institute. The other lectures will be led by retail and hospitality experts as well as selected customers of LS Retail. Internationally known brands such as adidas, Nordic Choice Hotels and A.S. Roma will share their real-life experiences of LS Retail products' implementations.

Guests can also visit an expo area where big names in the field of retail and hospitality business IT showcase their software solutions. The two Gold sponsors of conneXion 2015, Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard (HP), are among the exhibitors at the Expo.
