Under the SIA program, TrapX will integrate its DeceptionGrid™ technology with McAfee Advanced Threat Defense, enabling customers to meet and defeat advanced persistent threats (APTs), zero-day events and other sophisticated malware.

DeceptionGrid automates the deployment of a network of camouflaged malware traps that are intermingled with real information technology resources. These traps appear identical in every way to real IT assets. Once sophisticated malware has slipped past other primary cyber defenses and penetrated the enterprise, it continues to move laterally to find high-value targets. Just one touch of DeceptionGrid sets off a high-confidence alert. Real-time automation passes the malware to McAfee Advanced Threat Defense, which then isolates the malware and delivers a comprehensive assessment directly to an organization's security operations team. The teams are now empowered to defend their enterprise and defeat the malware.
