SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/04/15 -- Global supercomputer leader Cray Inc. (NASDAQ: CRAY) today announced the appointment of Nick Gorga to the position of vice president of sales for the Asia Pacific region. With a 32-year career in high tech, including more than 22 years of high performance computing (HPC) sales experience, Gorga will be responsible for leading Cray's sales efforts in the region.

Prior to joining Cray, Gorga served as general manager, Asia Pacific at SGI and was responsible for leading the company's regional strategy and direction in countries that included Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, China, India, New Zealand and his native Australia. Previously, Gorga held several positions at SGI, including general manager for South Asia and Korea, regional manager for Australia, and a number of senior sales positions in Australia. Prior to SGI, Gorga held sales and systems engineering positions with Prime Computer Inc.
