DURHAM, NC -- (Marketwired) -- 06/08/15 -- Percona, the company that delivers enterprise-class MySQL® and MongoDB® solutions and services, today announced that the call for speakers and general registration are now open for Percona Live Europe 2015, an expanded version of Percona Live London. Percona Live Europe is now a three-day conference and will be held September 21-23, 2015, at the Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre. The deadline for submitting a speaking proposal is June 21, 2015.

Percona Live Europe 2015 is the premier event for the rich and diverse MySQL and NoSQL ecosystem in Europe. It is the place to be for the open source community as well as businesses that thrive in the MySQL and NoSQL marketplaces. Attendees include DBAs, sysadmins, developers, architects, CTOs, CEOs, and vendors from around the world.

This year's conference will feature two days of keynote talks and two days of breakout sessions and tutorials related to MySQL, NoSQL and Data in the Cloud. Percona invites proposals for both breakout and tutorial sessions. Breakout sessions are 50 minutes in length including a Q&A. Tutorial sessions are focused on an immediate and practical application of in-depth MySQL and NoSQL knowledge and are targeted at a level between a training class and a conference breakout session. Tutorial speakers should assume that attendees will have laptops to work through detailed and potentially hands-on presentations. Tutorials are typically three hours in length including a Q&A, but submissions will also be accepted for full-day, 6-hour tutorials.

Selected tutorial and breakout session speakers will receive a complimentary full conference pass.
