LEE, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/10/15 -- Wave Systems Corp. (NASDAQ: WAVX) and Nationz Technologies (SSE: 300077) announced that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), under which the companies will jointly promote Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 solutions worldwide. Wave is the first TPM software vendor to work with Nationz -- the leading TPM vendor in all of China.
Wave and Nationz have agreed to undertake joint sales and marketing efforts while promoting the adoption of trusted computing technology worldwide. Benefits from these joint efforts are expected to materialize in the third quarter of 2015.
"This agreement signals a significant movement into China's market," said Bill Solms, President and CEO of Wave Systems. "Wave is the first and only TPM software company to work with a TPM vendor certified by the Chinese government -- a unique position that will help support and grow a healthy industrial chain for trusted computing. We're very pleased to be working with Nationz to promote the industry's international standard TPM 2.0."
As part of the agreement, Wave will offer its EMBASSY® Security Center (ESC), the solution that activates and manages TPMs so that both the user and the device can be securely verified. With this agreement, the ESC solution will enable agreed-upon functions using Chinese algorithms with Nationz's TPM.
In all cases, Wave's ESC solution offers data protection, ease-of-use, security compliance and reporting, and central management of security policies. For more information about Wave solutions, visit: www.wave.com.
About Wave Systems
