OLDSMAR, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 06/24/15 -- Global Convergence Inc. (GCI) announced today that it has appointed Christopher Hourigan to Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Chris will lead the company's global financial organization to further GCI's plans for rapid international expansion and growth. He will report to Jim Bradshaw, the company's CEO and Chairman of the Board.

Chris joins GCI from Accurity Business Solutions, his own accounting consulting practice that launched in 2007. In that role he served as Chief Financial Officer, Interim Controller, and Business Consultant for a diverse client base. Prior to Accurity, Chris was the Corporate Controller for Keystone North America, and he spent four years with Ernst & Young in their Audit Practice in Tampa where his client engagements included large local and national enterprises. Chris holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida.
