FAIRFAX, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/30/15 -- Invincea, the leader in advanced endpoint threat protection, today announced that Invincea researchers Joshua Saxe and Alex Long will be presenting in briefings at the Black Hat USA 2015 conference in Las Vegas.
Conference attendees will have the chance to hear Joshua Saxe, Associate Research Director of Invincea Labs, on Wednesday, August 5, lead a briefing that surveys the field of security data science and describes both the unique challenges of this field and specific mitigations to these challenges. Also on August 5, Alex Long, Research Engineer at Invincea Labs, will present a talk on unlocking the threat intelligence contained in malware by applying automated computer vision techniques to the imagery in malicious files.
In addition, Invincea will be hosting Off the Record, an exclusive event for media and security researchers, consisting of a series of quick, hard-hitting discussions on the most pressing industry topics and a panel discussion with Kim Zetter, author of Countdown to Zero Day, moderated by Paul Roberts, Editor in Chief of The Security Ledger.
