PALO ALTO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/27/15 -- Cloud access security broker Adallom will present the case study of a large-scale attack in the cloud during the Intelligent Defence conference at InfoSecurity Europe on June 3, 2015. Entitled The Fault in Our Clouds, the presentation details the attempted attack of an enterprise via its cloud applications by the Syrian Electronic Army. The incident is the only fully-documented cloud attack to date.

During the course of the session Yonatan Most, head of Adallom Labs, will provide an in-depth analysis of the attack, including the Syrian Electronic Army's modus operandi and steps Adallom Labs took to mitigate it. The presentation will include a live demonstration of the attack as well as an explanation of why the attack represents a threat to any organization using the cloud/SaaS, including companies with two-factor authentication and other sophisticated security controls.
