This award is presented to today's most innovative companies that have a significant, worldwide impact on business and society, and who demonstrate sustained potential as a long-term market leader with strategic plans for future development and growth.

The Technology Pioneers were selected from among hundreds of applicants by a committee of 68 academics, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and corporate executives. Past recipients include Airbnb (2014), GitHub (2014), Kickstarter (2012), Dropbox (2012) and Google (2001).
