IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/03/15 -- Cylance, the first math and machine learning-based advanced threat detection and prevention cybersecurity company, will begin its nationwide roadshow today: the Unbelievable Demo Tour. Cylance's team of security experts will do what other security vendors wouldn't dare to do -- expose their product to an unadulterated cyber attack without any knowledge of what will result.
In light of the past year's damaging cyber attacks this roadshow is set to expose the power of Cylance's flagship anti-malware product, CylancePROTECT, and educate CISOs on a superior form of malware prevention.
The roadshow will stop in over twenty cities across the country beginning in Tampa, Florida on March 3, 2015 and concluding in Dallas, Texas on May 7, 2015. At each stop, attendees will have the opportunity to witness first-hand how CylancePROTECT performs against other endpoint solutions, including Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro and others. Attendees can also bring-your-own-malware (BYOM) and test it in front of a live audience.
"The security market is flooded with companies that make claims based on ideal operating conditions," said Stuart McClure, CEO at Cylance. "Our solution is uniquely positioned so that it protects users even when they're offline, abolishing the need for legacy signature-based technologies such as anti-virus software. We are so confident in the superiority of our math-based approach to security that we are willing to take on any challenges in an unadulterated and unbiased setting with the whole world watching."
In addition to demonstrating how CylancePROTECT can outperform competitors' threat detection, Cylance experts will present on why attacks are successful and what organizations can do to protect themselves. Select cities will also feature presentations from Cylance partners and customers Accuvant, Assurance Data, Cambridge Computers, and Forsythe. These presentations will focus on how Cylance has helped these organizations better defend against advanced security threats.
The roadshow will reach its apex at the RSA Conference in San Francisco where a series of Cylance experts will be presenting, including CEO Stuart McClure, who will reveal major hacking efforts aimed at crippling our nation's critical infrastructure, as well as CTO Glenn Chisholm and statistician Mike Wojnowicz, who will discuss ways to automatically classify malware. Cylance will also be hosting an event on Tuesday, April 21 at The Children's Discovery Museum from 6-9pm PT. To register please visit: www.cylance.com
