SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/29/15 -- Citus Data, creators of solutions to scale out and extend the analytics capabilities of PostgreSQL, today announced that a Call for Speakers for the first annual PGConf Silicon Valley, a technical conference for the Silicon Valley PostgreSQL community, is open through June 15, 2015. PGConf Silicon Valley is scheduled for November 17-18, 2015, at the South San Francisco Conference Center and will feature speakers from leading Postgres users and vendors on topics such as performance tuning, backup & replication, PostgreSQL in the cloud, scaling out for big data, data analytics, and new technologies. Organized by Citus Data, PGConf Silicon Valley will bring together the Bay Area PostgreSQL community for an event filled with learning and new connection building. The conference features a day of keynotes and breakout sessions on November 18 with an evening Community Networking Reception during which PostgreSQL users can meet and share their experiences and mingle with members of the PostgreSQL community in Silicon Valley and beyond.
PGConf Silicon Valley is the first solely PostgreSQL-focused conference in Silicon Valley, the heart of high tech.
