SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/09/15 -- Runscope, a leader in cloud-based API monitoring and testing, today announced that it has teamed with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the availability of the AWS CodePipeline, a continuous delivery and release automation service. AWS CodePipeline customers can now include Runscope API tests and Ghost Inspector browser tests in their continuous delivery pipelines to catch faults and regressions early in their deployment processes.
AWS CodePipeline is an end-to-end solution that enables customers to rapidly deliver features and updates through the automation of the build, test and release process. By including API and browser integration tests in the continuous release process, development teams will be the first to know whether any of their apps break, before a potentially bad deployment is complete.
Noteworthy benefits of Runscope and Ghost Inspector integrations with AWS CodePipeline:
"APIs and microservices are mission-critical components of the infrastructure powering modern applications," said John Sheehan, co-founder and CEO of Runscope. "Catching bugs early and preventing bad deploys is essential to minimizing user-facing issues. We're excited for Runscope to integrate with AWS to make automated API and browser testing an integrated part of the continuous deployment process on AWS CodePipeline."
