Jain will be responsible for advancing Bat Blue's next-generation cloud security technologies, including a distributed enterprise solution to support its customers.

Jain joins Bat Blue following a successful stint as CTO at Recyclebank. From 2002 to 2013, he served as VP Engineering at online medical news and advice platform WebMD, where he led a team of developers to build extensible platforms and applications, made build-buy decisions and created solutions to help transform WebMD's online properties.

Prior to WebMD, Jain held technology positions with companies spanning four continents. He holds a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in electronics and telecommunications from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Kanpur, India. Jain's master's thesis has been published in the Nov. 1992 edition of the International Journal of Computers and Artificial Intelligence.
