SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/06/15 -- Clustrix, provider of the first scale-out database designed to meet the needs of fast growing e-commerce sites, announced today that Thomas Muise will join Clustrix as Chief Financial Officer. With more than 30 years of finance and operations experience at both start-up and public companies, Muise joins Clustrix as the company accelerates its growth in the e-commerce market.

An industry veteran, Muise has developed and supported a variety of business models. Prior to Clustrix, Muise was CFO at PivotLink, where he was responsible for corporate governance, debt and equity financing, strategic financial planning, legal, accounting and human resources. Before that, Muise was CFO of analytics appliance leader Kickfire, and instrumental in their acquisition by Teradata. Earlier in his career, Muise spent 12 years at Tandem Computers supporting a variety of business units, including the $200M NonStop SQL database software division.
