NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 06/10/15 -- Cloud Expo -- RackWare today announced that its flagship product, the RackWare Management Module (RMM) can be used by enterprises to protect applications running on-premises or in other clouds using VMware vCloud® Air cloud service as the recovery environment, and to migrate physical and virtual applications to vCloud Air. RMM has also achieved VMware Ready-vCloud Air status. This designation indicates that RMM has undergone technical validation within vCloud Air environment, and is supported on VMware vCloud Air.
Additionally RackWare is a member of the access tier of the VMware vCloud Air ISV program and is listed on the VMware Solution Exchange.
"Customers with complex multi-tier applications that need to fail over as a unit, can leverage the RackWare Management Module solution on vCloud Air to optimize their application's recovery point and recovery time objectives," said Ajay Patel, vice president, Application Services for VMware. "RMM on VMware vCloud Air complements VMware's existing cloud-based disaster recovery solutions, offering customers fine-grained control when configuring application sync and recovery."
"By using the RackWare Management Module on VMware vCloud Air, enterprises can migrate physical, virtual or cloud workloads with push button ease, and protect their in-house applications with vCloud Air as the secondary site. RackWare and VMware have jointly verified our solutions to enable the highest quality of migration and disaster recovery experience on vCloud Air," said Sash Sunkara, Founder and CEO of RackWare.
The RackWare Management Module can be found within the online VMware Solution Exchange (VSX) at https://solutionexchange.vmware.com/store/products/app-dr-to-vcloud-air-w-rackware#, and https://solutionexchange.vmware.com/store/products/hybrid-migrations-to-vca-w-rackware#
