The company continued to gain traction as the up-market leader in cloud-based EPM, winning both established market leaders as well as red-hot startups as customers.

First quarter wins were driven by Host Analytics' intuitive user interface, enterprise-class cloud EPM platform, and functional breadth as well as the company's strong commitment to customer success. New customers included Ability Networks, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, DiscoverOrg, Industrial Service Solutions, Purdue Pharmaceuticals, Steinway, Vigor Industrial, and Weebly.

Replacement of legacy on-premises EPM systems was a continuing strong theme for Host Analytics in the first quarter, as modern finance organizations work to become more agile and partner better with stakeholders across the organization. During the first quarter, the company again won numerous replacements of Oracle Hyperion and generated millions of dollars in replacement pipeline. In addition, Host Analytics introduced bi-directional integration with Oracle Hyperion for organizations that want to take advantage of cloud EPM at the departmental or divisional level without disrupting existing investments in on-premises EPM at the corporate level.

Host Analytics also expanded its product line in the first quarter, introducing Host Analytics Modeling Cloud, designed to serve business users wherever they work -- in Excel spreadsheets or via a web browser or mobile device with a patent-pending "write once, run anywhere" architecture. Modeling Cloud lets business users anticipate business outcomes in a self-service way, providing interactive query and analysis capabilities, advanced modeling, and Excel-based reporting.

During the first quarter, the company also announced the appointment of John O'Rourke as Vice President of Product Marketing. Mr. O'Rourke is a 20-year veteran in enterprise software and EPM, including more than 15 years at Hyperion Solutions and Oracle following the Hyperion Solutions acquisition.
