The presentation, titled "Hackers Vs. The Anti-Malware Vendors: The Blue-Pill in Mobile Applications" will include the live creation of a blue-pill-like malicious mobile app and discuss the means to detect and prevent such apps.
WHAT:
Hackers Vs. The Anti-Malware Vendors: The Blue-Pill in Mobile Applications
Adi Sharabani and Yair Amit will address modern malware analysis techniques and why attackers can easily defeat them. Nine years after the introduction of Blue-Pill Desktop attacks, a blue-pill like malicious app will be created live, to bypass signatures, static and dynamic analysis approaches. With more than 30 patents in these fields, the team will uncover what's broken and needs to improve.
