Structure Research Highlights nGenx Application and Desktop Delivery Platform in Published Report

nFinity(R) nWorkspace(TM) Recognized for Multi-Tenant Cloud Workspace Platform That Is Infrastructure Agnostic With Flexibilities of Scale

CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwired) -- 07/07/15 -- nGenx, a cloud services pioneer in the delivery of hosted workspaces, including applications and desktops, today announced that its nFinity® nWorkspace™ solution has been recognized in a recent report by Structure Research titled, "nGenx elevates GoldMine to the cloud through GCE and IndependenceIT."(1) The report details how nGenx provides its reliable, high performance Desktop as a Service/application delivery platform to help GoldMine complement the company's traditional on-premise CRM software with a cloud-based subscription model.

According to the Structure Research report, "GoldMine is now offering its CRM software through nGenx's cloud application and desktop delivery platform: nFinity® nWorkspace™. In the deal, GoldMine software will be available to customers from Windows Server 2012 R2 in a subscription model and through Google Compute Engine (GCE). The nGenx platform is supported using APIs from IndependenceIT's Cloud Workspace Suite® and GCE infrastructure. Integrated into the nGenx platform, the company automatically orchestrates and deploys Microsoft Windows RDS session-based applications and desktops using on-premises, cloud or hybrid infrastructure to any device on the network."

"As far as DaaS goes, nGenx was one of the first providers to embrace the relatively new market. Now, almost every MSP and cloud service provider we come across is looking to add a DaaS and application delivery services, if they haven't already," said Karin Kelley, analyst for Structure Research. "We find the company's focus on working with traditional ISVs [independent software vendors] a particularly compelling strategy. ISVs like GoldMine are looking to 'SaaS-ify' their applications, but it's a really complicated process to restructure existing on-premise licensing structures."

nGenx simplifies the process of cloud-enabling applications without the need to redevelop existing software solutions. This gives ISVs unprecedented access to markets and customers previously out of reach. nGenx delivers an integrated online experience that empowers business applications with a greater number of access points using a full-featured Microsoft Windows desktop. As cited in the report, GoldMine leveraged nGenx to give users the ability to use their application from any location and on any device. With centralized deployment and management, GoldMine retains complete control, security, and auditability for compliance through an intuitive browser-based management system that reduces support costs, increases service quality and improves responsiveness.

"By working with nGenx, GoldMine and other ISVs can bring in an entirely new revenue stream on top of their existing customer base. Further, the deal gives Google's immense partner base a new DaaS offering built on GCE, as well as the large scale workloads that nGenx brings to the table through well-established software vendor partners like GoldMine," said Kelley.

"As the underlying platform that supports cloud enablement for hundreds of applications, it is critical to not only deliver functional technology but a solution that ensures reliable and performant operations that are global in scope," said JD Helms, president, nGenx. "We are focused on providing a complete solution for our partners to speed and simplify business application cloud deployment. We offer a highly redundant platform with enterprise-class scalability to support globally deployed solutions. The value of nFinity nWorkspace is validated through the installation at GoldMine and others, demonstrating the opportunity for all ISVs."
