SAN FRANCISCO, CA and BERLIN, GERMANY -- (Marketwired) -- 08/12/15 -- Cloud Foundry Foundation, home of the leading open source cloud native application platform, today announced its first European Summit, November 2-3 in Berlin. It's the first in an annual series of international Cloud Foundry Summits including future expansion into Asia Pacific.

Hundreds of application developers, IT operations experts, technical managers, business leaders, service providers and project contributors are expected to attend. Similar to this spring's Cloud Foundry Summit North America, which hosted a standing-room only crowd, Summit attendees in Berlin will collaborate with peers, gain first hand access to Cloud Foundry roadmaps, training and tutorials, and see how companies like Axel Springer, Fjord IT, Swisscom and SAP are using Cloud Foundry to support continuous innovation, unleash developers and deliver application portability. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of microservices, containers, and cloud native application platforms, and how to apply these to the needs of the business.
