Marathon Oil Corporation Declares First Quarter 2022 Dividend

HOUSTON, April 28, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Marathon Oil Corporation (NYSE: MRO) announced today that the company's board of directors has declared a dividend of 8 cents per share on Marathon Oil Corporation common stock. This represents an approximate 15% increase from the company's last quarterly base dividend payment of 7 cents per share. The dividend is payable on June 10, 2022, to stockholders of record on May 18, 2022.

"This is the fifth consecutive increase to our quarterly base dividend, representing a cumulative  increase of 167% since the beginning of 2021, consistent with our commitment to pay a competitive and sustainable base dividend and to return a significant amount of cash flow to our shareholders" said Chairman, President and CEO Lee Tillman.
